Beermoth Turns Five
Blog Post One: February 1st 2018
We are five! And like most five-year-olds, we’ve decided to start a blog. It’s been an amazing five years and we’re immensely proud to be in the position we find ourselves in right now. So before we talk about what’s to come in 2018, we’d like to thank all of you for supporting us over these last five years. Every customer, every brewer, every distributor. From everyone here at Beermoth: thank you! We get to earn a living from our collective hobby and we are ridiculously lucky to do so.
We hope you will all join us this Saturday (3rd February) at Cafe Beermoth, to help celebrate our turning five. We’ve been busy over the last few months and the sum of that hard work has resulted in 15 collaborations with some our favourite breweries and friends from across the United Kingdom, and into Europe; Burning Sky, Cloudwater, Northern Monk, Track, Squawk, Dry & Bitter, Runaway, Pomona Island, Mad Hatter, Torrside, Steep Soda, Garage. We will also have food from Mama Sues Kitchen. It’s going to be pretty special.
Alongside our birthday weekend, we are officially reopening the Beermoth Cellar every weekend from now on, Friday and Saturday 12-8pm. The cellar hosts a pretty extensive and impressive bottle collection, including some secret specials that have been ageing away down there for the last couple of years. (These will be drink-in only.)
